A group of 27 sponsors are united for the restoration, expansion, and modernization project of Museu do Ipiranga. With the participation of these companies, the University of São Paulo Support Foundation (FUSP) has been obtaining the necessary resources to execute the various stages required for the construction work, which will present in September 2022 the new Museu do Ipiranga, fully restored, completely accessible, and with various technological resources.

The restoration, expansion, and modernization project for the New Museu do Ipiranga has an estimated global value of R$ 211 million and relies on different sponsorship models. It is a realization of the University of São Paulo Support Foundation (FUSP), the Federal Government, and the Ministry of Tourism, by the Federal Law for Cultural Incentive. It is supported by USP and the São Paulo State Government, in the institutional development for fund raising, and by other partnerships.
