The approach articulates contributions from History, Art History, and Anthropology to understand images as part of social, cultural, and political practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the topics discussed are photography, the press, landscape, colonialism, violence, image banks, and representations of the body. Coordinated by Professor Dr. Solange Ferraz de Lima, the classes will start with case studies presented by invited researchers. Over ten sessions, the course will address different forms of image production and circulation, and the circuits in which they acquire new uses and meanings.
