The event brings together professionals from museums, archives, libraries, universities, and other cultural institutions to discuss the challenges of managing, preserving, and disseminating collections and documents in digital environments.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The Symposium takes place at a time of expansion of the digital infrastructure of the Museu Paulista. The institution will have the Center for Digitization and Intelligent Treatment of Collections (CDTIC), a structure funded by FAPESP that will bring together equipment, software and artificial intelligence to digitize, process and expand online access to the collections.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the initiatives is the creation of a repository integrated with <\/span><b>Tainacan Processes, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Software developed to support the management and preservation of the institution&#039;s curatorial processes.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">In this context, the Symposium brings together experts to discuss experiences related to digital repositories, the treatment and preservation of born-digital documents and collections, and platforms aimed at the public dissemination of collections and knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in the event is free, and registration can be done by <\/span><b>September 21st to October 4th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">via form<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If demand exceeds the number of available places, tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue. He works on research and innovation projects with an emphasis on digital transformation, systems development, and modernization of institutional processes.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Henrique Godinho<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GLAMs and Culture Manager at Wikimedia Brazil, Master&#039;s degree in Knowledge Organization from ECA-USP, specialist in Communication and Digital Design, and Bachelor&#039;s degree in Visual Arts.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Isabel Cristina Ayres da Silva Maringelli<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecturer in the Library Science and Information Science course at FESP-SP. Professor at IFRN, he works in the areas of programming, systems development, and computer networks, and is involved in research and technological development projects at NOCS Lab.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Juliana Monteiro<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A museologist from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), specializing in Public Management and holding a master&#039;s degree in Information Science from ECA-USP. She works in the area of collection and documentation management in museums and currently coordinates the Observatory of the S\u00e3o Paulo State Museum System (SISEM-SP).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Lilian Miranda Bezerra<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Master&#039;s degree in Social History, Bachelor&#039;s degree and teaching qualification in History from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo. Currently, she is the Head of the Technical Section of the General Archive of USP and works on topics related to Archival Science and the management and processing of archives.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Luciana Martins<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A historian with a doctorate in Education and a master&#039;s degree in Education and Museology from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, she is the coordinator of Education and Cultural Action at SESI Lab and works on projects in museology, museum education, collection management, and the use of information and communication technologies.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Marcos Sigismundo<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Holding a doctorate and master&#039;s degree in Information Science from the University of Bras\u00edlia (UnB), he is the Information Technology Coordinator at the Brazilian Institute of Museums (Ibram). He works in the development and implementation of information environments and in digital preservation initiatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Marcelo Thadeu Quintanilha Martins<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He holds a doctorate and bachelor&#039;s degree in History from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, with specializations in Social History and Archival Science. He is an employee of the Public Archives of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo (APESP), where he worked on the preparation of inventories, catalogs, and research tools, and was the technical director of the Permanent Collection Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Natalia Marinho do Nascimento<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professor in the Department and Graduate Program in Information Science at Unesp, in Mar\u00edlia. She holds a doctorate and master&#039;s degree in Information Science and a bachelor&#039;s degree in Archival Studies. She is the president of the Permanent Commission for Digital Preservation at Unesp.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Solange Ferraz de Lima<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professor at the Museu Paulista of USP and coordinator of the project funded by FAPESP that foresees the expansion of digitization and processing activities of collections and the creation of a repository for the Institutional Archive.
