Domestic Oratories: From Private Devotion to Museum Space

O Meeting with Research July presents the lecture Architectural and textual narratives in the study dynamics of domestic oratories: from private devotion to museum space, which proposes expanding the debate on the investigation of objects of a religious nature, originally used in a domestic context and today preserved in museum collections.

Led by Prof. Dr. Silveli Maria de Toledo Russo, a researcher who develops studies on urban and rural built heritage, the meeting invites professors, researchers, and the general public to understand how these objects contribute to the study of material culture, devotional practices, and heritage preservation processes over time.
