In this edition of Music at the Museum, the Ipiranga Museum welcomes the Salvation Army Brass Band and Choir, one of the institutions featured in the “Liberty: A Plural Neighborhood” exhibition.
The groups are part of a musical tradition present for almost 160 years in different parts of the world. The performance brings together repertoires that range from traditional hymns to contemporary compositions and arrangements of popular music, in a meeting marked by the diversity of voices, sounds, and trajectories.
Through music, the Band and Choir share messages of joy, hope, and belonging, bringing the audience closer to their social and community work, creating an experience that invites listening, connection, and collective celebration.
